Tour Synopsis

The State Courts Tour is a complimentary 2-hour guided walking tour that will allow participants to explore the State Courts building, and gain insights into the Singapore Judiciary.

The tours are open to all and they include:

  • Introduction to the work of the State Courts.

  • A walkabout on the different facilities and functions in the State Courts.

  • A visit to the State Courts Heritage Gallery.

Be transported back in history to Singapore's colonial court system, and then back again to the present day's ins and outs of what makes this respected institution tick. Get up close and look into an actual court room, observe real trials, and learn what it's like to be a witness in court.

At the same time, discover the architectural highlights of the building, integrated with state-of-the-art features that have earned the highest accolade of eco-friendly buildings in Singapore. The tour will conclude with an exclusive gallery tour that has been curated to show you pivotal moments in our judicial system, and introduce high profile cases that have been heard.

Through this experience, appreciate how the courts have constantly adapted to better serve the people, and play their part in maintaining equality, transparency, and access to justice for all.
